MarvellousMe
We are delighted to be launching "MarvellousMe" here at St Andrew's Southgate Primary School (CE). MarvellousMe is an app that helps teachers and parents to improve children's learning and development by improving communication between teachers and parents. The app lets us share news with parents directly regarding their children's activities and achievements. This will help parents to provide additional at-home support and motivation, reinforcing the positive behaviours and school values we are teaching and praising in class.
You will be receiving a letter today which provides you with a parent join code. This code is specific for your child. You can share this code with other members of your family who may also like to receive the notifications.
You then download the MarvellousMe parent app from the Apple or Android stores, or join up at www.marvellousme.com.
When downloading the app for your phone or tablet, please take extra care to ensure that you allow all notifications. As soon as your child receives a badge or award, of if there is a message or other notification, you will automatically be alerted. To enable notifications, please go to your settings page and ensure that all alerts are activated and that that the banner style is set to persistent. If you have any problems with downloading the app, please let the school office know and we will be happy to help you.
We hope that MarvellousMe will become an integral part of our communications here at St Andrew's Southgate and will reinforce the link between school and parents. Please note that there is a facility for us to share pictures and videos with parents/carers via the app and you are requested to ensure that you return the reply ship confirming that you are happy for us to do this. Slips should be returned to the class teacher via your child's bookbag for onward transmission to the school office.
