Jeans for Genes Day

This year we are delighted to be lending our support to this exceptionally worthwhile charity which supports children diagnosed with a genetic condition.

It is estimated that one in 25 children is affected by a genetic disorder. 30,000 babies and children are newly diagnosed in the UK alone each year.

On Friday 21st September we are asking all children to come to school wearing either Jeans or a piece of denim clothing in return for a donation to this wonderful charity. Money will be collected either at the gate on entry into the school or donations can be given directly to the class teacher at registration.

The money raised by St Andrew's will go towards supporting children suffering from a genetic illness through a variety of endeavours such as funding projects that provide nursing care, specialist equipment, activity weekends, online support and counselling.

Thank you very much in advance for your generous support.
